Godly Play
The Godly Play mimics the adult church.
~ The room is a sacred space. Children need to be in a calm frame of mind prior to entering the room.
~ The focal point of the room is an altar with a cross, bible, and a cloth representing the color of the church year.
~ There is a lesson from the Bible.
~ There is a response time, analogous to the Sermon.
~ Prayer
~ There is a feast , analogous to Communion.
~ The colors change in the Godly Play room as they do in adult church
