The purpose of this ministry is to glorify God by adorning the altar for worship for Sunday services and decorating the sanctuary for special services such as Christmas and Easter.

 

The members of the Flower Guild work in teams of two on a rotating basis to prepare flowers for Sunday services. Teams are responsible for purchasing flowers, designing and building the arrangements, and taking down the arrangements after the service. For special services such as Christmas or Easter, the entire Flower Guild works together to prepare the sanctuary for the celebration. 

 

St. Mark’s community members can sign up to donate flowers for any Sunday. Flowers may be dedicated to the memory of loved ones, in thanksgiving for various blessings, or in celebration of anniversaries, birthdays and friendships. The donation for Sunday flowers is currently $40.  Dedication forms are available in the back of the church; these can be filled out and placed in the collection plate or turned in to the church office. Flower donations can also be made by clicking on the "Sign-Up Form" link at the right; just print the page, fill it out, and return it to the address at the bottom of the form. A chart located in the back of the church lists all donations.

 

Please be aware that dedication form must be turned in for the dedication to appear in the bulletin. The chart located next to the forms in the sanctuary is only for viewing the dates that are available.
